Looking Forward

01. Our new (most likely) forever home, which will be ready for us to move into by December/January, is currently being built from the ground up. I’m really hoping for December–that way, we can count it as our Christmas present. We sold our home in July and moved out by the end of September. Aug. 13th was when we broke ground. We are currently living in an apartment, which wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t near a busy intersection. Neighbors are kind of loud too, which I don’t miss about apartment-living.

02. Toward the end January of next year, nursing school begins. I am excited and scared at the same time. I just have to make sure to stay organized, prioritize, and study smart. I have been going on YouTube to get some tips. I can do this! I have completed one mandatory orientation and the next one is scheduled for January, a few days before the first day of class as a nursing student. I should be getting my schedule for next semester soon. I am ready to start this journey. I trust and pray to God to continue to give me the strength to make it through and to continue guiding me.

03. One more month left of oral communication class! I feel like I’m dying inside when I’m in front of the class. I may appear confident, but I’d rather hide in a shell and not come out for a long time. I’m so out of my comfort zone. As much as I hate to admit it, I know this class is good for me. It just sucks I have three more speeches to do. :/ Once this class is over, I am going to jump for joy and maybe grab a drink — a blueberry mojito, to be exact. 😀
